DIY Lights - Halos and turn signals

Hello all,
l recently got an RC390 (first bike) and noticed that the USA bikes do not have the integrated turn signals that the Euro bikes get. After doing some digging, I found that nobody offers up a kit. The cost of buying euro mirrors from overseas exceeded the value. I ended up buying some cheap generic LED strips on Amazon. Here is what I did with them.

Here are the parts

LED strips - $10

Generic Halos (70mm Outer Diameter, 60mm Inner Diameter) - $10

Self solder shrink tubes, for those of that that dont like to solder - $10

2 wire quick disconnects (not really needed) - $9

I removed the fender and licence plate as well as the rear LH/RH signals+wires. Then I mocked up what I wanted by sicking the LED strips to the under-tail. The stock 2 wire disconnect will be used AFTER everything has been mocked up.

Here is the rear with the wires hanging everywhere!

A few shots of the front. The LED strips where placed in such a way that they would be invisible unless being used. But if you look under the winglette you can see it. Still need to take off the side fairings in order to remove the front flashers.

I have everything more or less when I want so its time for some cutting and splicing.

I drilled 2 small holes into the tail to feed the wires through. I could have used the area provided by the factory wires, but I wanted the cables to be invisible.

I will update this post to show the cable cutting/splicing soon.

I took off the fairing and removed the front signals. While everything was apart, I cut all the wires to proper length and soldered them back together.

I just realized that the stock white lick will not fit with this particular fender eliminator. I will likely get another led strip for this (white this time).

Here is how she sits currently.
