G-Baby Test and Tune 4-19

600 mile sign off at 550 - So the process really begins now.

"Rainy day cut short our testing today. We only got 3 sessions before the lightning came and the rain never quit for the balance of the day. We decided nothing more to be gained and kept wheels off track for the rest of the day.

The KTM was showing great promise, I believe Nicole saw 114mph indicated down the long straight (she is a pretty light racer). I think Nicole is really jazzed about riding the bike next weekend a Willow and then on to Sonoma! The stock Pirelli Rossi tires did well and have proved to be keepers as a good intermediate condition tire. Final touches to the bike tomorrow and the fresh set of Pirelli Supercorsa DOT race rubber back on before it goes into the trailer for the trip west..."

The bike is safety wired, rear JRi shock in place, street garb removed, and a belly pan made ready till the KTM unit arrives. We are working around the front end for now till we get the chance to do some internal work.

We are bringing a couple of SV's. Was going to bring the '77 BMW but it started blowing oil down the right side of the engine yesterday. No time to fix...
