Personally I think you will have a hard time finding anyone willing to give $5k for it.
The market is just so incredibly small for this type of bike and then the KTM on top of it.

I finally got a dealer to respond to me after trying 6 different ones.
They told me that it would cost $440 for the first service which included the valve adjustment (and also an oil change).
What bothered me though is the service manager kept insisting that I did not need to bring my bike in...
So I am approaching 600 miles on my RC390 and I know that the valves need to be checked along with the initial service.
Normally I do all the easy regular service items on my bikes (torquing bolts, changing oil, adjust/clean/lube chain).
I've never done a valve check and after reading threads...
Wow talk about timing.
I started hearing a rattle/vibration sound come from the lower front fairing area just this morning. I need to go out at lunch and look around for missing bolts, LOL.
In regards to the clutch.
Does your clutch disengage with just the slightest of lever movement? It seems like the clutch is awfully quick to disengage from the lever movement, especially compared to the other bikes I have owned/still own.
