I took bike to dealer and they want to see evidence of oil burning (or something) obvious before opening anything up.
Interesting take. What's confusing to me is that Dunlop kinda markets this tires and street and race tire whereas Pirelli with supercorsa and Dunlop Ntecs are specifically marketed as race only. So I'm curious how street riders will fare. I'm using my stock corsa ii's for street and track and...
Your running alpha 13's for the street? I thought these are race tires that work only when up to correct operating temperature. On Dunlop's website it sounds like street riding is ok.

I'd be curious how you like them for the street. I assume you will also track them...
I'm running accossato master cylinder 16x16. The sales rep recommended 16x16 instead of 16x18 because our bikes are 2 piston. Brake lever felt too mushy so I removed ABS, added stainless lines and changed to vesrah sintered pads and now brakes are amazing! One finger braking but I still get...
Interested to hear from racers how RC fares to competition in terms of power, handling, and fun factor. Surely, lots of you racers were previously racing either a ninja or Honda. Ninjas seem to own the grid, R3 is very new and Honda is underpowered.
My Rc is stock and I'm contemplating putting...
Welcome Sailor. I'm in your hood too and bought my RC from Holeshot. Congrats on your purchase. You should feel right at home with this bike coming from your 250
Hey Ryan, what do you think you are missing in terms of meeting/beating your old laptime? What bike did you have previously? Sounds like you have great parts and maybe you just need more time to get the suspension, chassis and tire all working together. Surely you'll get there soon as this is...
Great report! Pretty impressive that you beat your ninja time so quickly with only rear shock. Yes definitely remove ABS and add good pads ( i was able to fit vesrahs to mine)
I did another trackday yesterday which was a proper sized course and about a dozen times over course of day my bike with jump out of 4th gear under WOT. This is highly annoying and sort of unpredictable. Trouble is I can't replicate it on the street so if I take it back to the dealer I don't...
Congrats DC! And you don't look like a light weight either so you must be riding the wheels off. Is the stock suspension limiting you? Especially with the added grip from supercorsas.
I don't like the brake feel from the stock RC master cylinder. I have a spare master cylinder from my Kawi 636 which works well with that bike. Since the RC has 1 rotor/caliper I don't think it would work correctly on the RC. Can any confirm this? Thanks!
Thanks for response. Yeah I would hate to do down because of coolant. I did the same on the supermoto bike so certainly the RC needs one if you have street belly pan
Thanks for review. Do you have any pictures showing entire bike? Sliders stick out quite a bit which is good for protection. Side note, looks like you have your over flow coolant hose routed to the back of the bike. Do you have a catch can?
I have a track day later this week and was going to ride my bike as is (stock). Wondering if anyone is putting a catch can at the end of the coolant hose (the one that dumps out the bottom of the bike). As most know the belly pan isn't sealed so I want to prevent any coolant from getting on the...
For those that did the 1st service how many needed valve adjusting? Sounds to me that this is most critical part for diy ers. Speaking for myself I am comfortable with all of the first service checklist except valve adjustment.
