Leathers: Shift SR-1 suit (fits like it was custom), SR-1 jacket, Shift Air Avenger jacket, Dainese Pro C2 pants, Shift SR1 gloves, Dainese winter gloves (at least for Arizona they worked!!)
Helmets: HJC AC-12 Carbon and a Diablo
Boots: Sidi Vertigo
I use to work where we sold Fox Racing...
Looking at the new Sport Rider Feb./March, the updated to the Aprilla RSV4 and the electronics are crazy!?!? GPS positional electronic adjustments, WOW really!!?? And the Honda RC213V-S looks awesome. Looking forward to the Stroke of Genius article, being a big two-stroke fan.
As of today 12/17/2014, I don't live in the North East (Western Massachusetts) or own an RC390 but soon, most likely both things will happen right around the same time beginning of April.
.......best laid plans, wishful thinking, good timing and have you seen the roads there!!!!!!! :p
So every now and again I get this ( what I would call unnecessary) email saying this forum misses me?!?!? To that I say fcuk off! I log in almost every day, just because I don't post shouldn't mean I get an email, there's only, like what 14 members! I don't want to take myself off email...
This can be moved to a better area if ya'll think it would be better! Anyway.
Post up what tracks you know and if anyone is going there they can ask some questions to help them out.
Here's a good resource too! Race Tracks
Arizona: Phoenix International Raceway, Firebird International...
No matter how you spell it, they make or break your ride....sometimes literally! :p
There are not tons of options in the 110/70/17 and 150/60/17, what are your opinions on what you've used on other bikes. Will you swap sooner than later?
I heard the factory rear doesn't wear normally at full...
I'll post a couple of mine.
Me at a track day in Az. The RZ350 and QA50 aren't mine but are identical to them.......ahhh memories! And lusting after a Husqvarna 401 Vit Pilen
I just saw the Husqvarna 401 Vit Pilen. Single with 401cc.
A few things look the same (which makes sense given the parents): shared swing arm, frame too maybe!?
Looks cool........I'd still get the RC though.
So while we're all here excited about a lightweight, 44hp, inexpensive sport bike, others are lusting over an ugly (IMO), 300hp, ridiculous (for 99.9% of the riders in the world), I'm assuming very expensive sport bike.
What say you all?
My very first change will be the lower part of the clear windscreen, either with vinyl wrap or paint or stickers...........just looks cheap and unfinished to me. Then the solo seat, the factory seat setup looks good but I'm guessing it's heavy and I'm not going to ever have a passenger.
Honda QA50 (I was 4 yrs old I've no idea what year it was LOL)
Yamaha RZ350 1989
Honda CBR600F3 1996
Triumph Daytona 675 2007
Sadly all gone (esp. the RZ). :(
