A dozen my of motorcycle friends and I decided to make our annual trip from Albuquerque to Telluride, CO to ride for three days in the Rockies. The bike performed beautifully on the 500 mile trip and did well keeping up with the liter bikes. The next day 30 miles into our ride the bike started...
I thought I would never go there, trying to improve on a bike that is already a blast to ride.
Mind you, I’m accustomed to riding liter bikes for most of my life.
The following mods were done mostly by myself:
Front brake pads EBS FA606HH
Driven rear sets
Ohlins rear shock KT303
Race Tech fork...
Just finished installing several mods on the RC but hesitated on getting started with the fork springs.
Race Tech only supplies generic installation instructions and I couldn't find anything meaningful on YouTube.
Anyone willing to post RC 390 specific instructions?
I'm just curious if the folks riding track exclusively are insuring their bikes and if so why.
I realize that some insurance companies cover track casualties and others don't.
Please share your experience.
