    Front forks

All, i had had my forks resprung and revalued for my 200 pounds. During the job it was noted that there were 3 spacers reducing the amount of fork travel in the cup bike forks. In my discussion with my suspension guy we agreed to remove 2 of the 3 spacers to gain some more fork travel. I'll...

    Track Questions

Eddie, I did get the parts this week, all good. I am hoping I can get some of the fade out of the system as I plan on running this bike in a few endurance races. The guy doing the suspension is one of the best in the USA, has handled all the AMA/motoamerica pro teams suspension for 20 years...

    Track Questions

I am 200 without gear, so I far exceeded the current set up for a 140 pound rider. Regarding the brakes it's a cup bike so no abs, not sure what rotor and pads came stock on the bike and if I can upgrade without being knocked out of a stock class. What pads are you all running, I usually run...

    Track Questions

Hi all, I was able to get my cup bike out on 3 tracks the end of the season here in the east. Here's my questions for those tracking/racing: 1. I am sending out my suspension to thermos man for springing and valving but noticed a lot of chassis flex in the bike, i am not sure if that was due...

Cup bike ECU reflash and throttle bump stop?

No it's behind the cam that the throttle cable mounts to. In this picture it would be on the right side and the ear that's on the top of the cable mount will hit the plate at about 2:00. It's held in place by a small 8mm bolt.

    New to Forum and RC390

My FD has 105k on the chassis and 7k on the motor an turbos, I raced it in SCCA solo I and II for several years and retired it when I went back to bikes in 2002. Great track day car and still is competitive especially for a 22 year old car. New RX due out in 2018ish.

All, I just picked up a 390 cup bike for track days and endurance racing. On the back roads it very fun, getting it out to the track next 2 weekends, can't wait. As you can see from my signature I have a few ktms, including 2 rc8s one for street and one for track. Tom

    Keyless ignition

Edit, when key is in on position even with kill switch off there are relays energized.

    alpha 13 reviews?

I have a friend that is a tire vendor and another that does all the work on Mazzioto's (SP) cup bike, they both agree that the alpha's are the same compound as the Q3's, not surprising on colder days and when not pushed they are ok, but when pushed they are greasy and slower than SC's.

    Keyless ignition

I have removed the key cylinder from my cup bike. The base is a rotary switch that can be removed which I placed in the on position then covered with a plastic bag and electrical tape. Now the kill switch turns the bike on or off.

All, i just picked up a 2015 cup bike for tack days and endurance racing. As you can see in my signature I am a Ktm fanatic. I'll post my question here and also in the racing section: has anyone modified their gas tank eliminating the sheer metal gaurd and plastic that is at the 11:00...

    RC390 Track Fuel Economy

Thanks for the info I was thinking we could do one hour stints. Can the ecu be tuned for mr12 or other race gas? Or is ir a piggy back only ecu? The rc8s can be opened up with tune ecu.

    RC390 Track Fuel Economy

All, I just picked a 390 Cup bike for track days and there will be an ultralight weight endurance series in the NE next year. Anyone done any endurance racing on these yet? If so what kind of times are you getting per stint before refueling? Or what type of mileage are you seeing in sprints...
