Competition Werkes pipe for KTM Duke and RC390

Own a piece of history This pipe is the original Competition Werkes exhaust that was produced for the KTM 390s using duke forum member ChevDog's bike for prototyping. I got it from the second owner who found it too loud and I sent it back to Competition Werkes for a refinish (ceramic coat center) and a factory repack.

The OE packing doesn't last though as anyone familiar with these pipes will know. In less than 1500kms, mine was all gone. I worked with Bristol Core to develop a repack kit that includes their proprietary HD stainless steel wool core wrap and spec 19 packing. This pipe has one of the first production repack kits which is already proving to be more durable.

I picked up another Competition Werkes exhaust and applied the same treatment so this one is now for sale. The new one came with the RC390 trim plate so that is included as I don't need it on my Duke 390.

One of the lightest exhausts for this bike, weighing in at 1400g with Bristol Core repack. This is a 10lb weight savings over the stock breadbox!

I didn't take any video after the Bristol Core repack but it drops a few dB over unpacked for sure. Once factory packing wears out, they're pretty loud. The Bristol Core Wrap significantly improves longevity of the packing.

Strictly speaking, you won't see more power from these pipes alone but I upgraded at same time as PCV, open air box, free flow air filter etc, so I did gain significantly with those mods.

Pipe is 10lbs lighter!
