I rode today!
Noticing lately the freeways in California can be pretty brutal on such a light bike. Lane splitting is excellent and makes my commute half as long. Prior to a few months ago I was riding surface streets to work but was forced to move due to my landlord selling (yay socal housing market) so it's been interesting getting used to regular highway riding. Still lucky to only fill up once a week even with riding almost every day, but not so fun getting blown all over the road by anything bigger than a car!

Passed mile 3500 with thankfully no issues thus far, except one random over-rev incident on the freeway going downhill which I've never been able to replicate in any way shape or form.

Happy riding all

I haven't been good about contributing to my own thread...

Rode yesterday...for about 20 minutes.:(

Started out having looked at the radar with nothing close. By the time I got out, a storm had come up between me and where I wanted to go. Had on a mesh jacket and didn't want to get soaked or have to clean the bike up, so I hooked a U-turn and went home to do some work on another bike.

Not today no, but in the past month I've put 1000 miles on her. Love the bike, but already itching for more top end. Looking into a larger front sprocket now.IMG_20181009_200606.jpg

absolutely! no pics, but I got in an hour or so, maybe a bit more. Rode to work, and back, and then some great local back roads. Good stuff.
