Hello ,
I am new to the group love my 390 its running great but would like to get it tuned. It has a PCV and a wide band controller Its a 2016 but I put in a 2018 motor. The shift drum was changed on the new motor with a different switch for the gear position indicator. Needed to run the stator etc from the 2016 didn’t want to swap the drum so I grounded the wire on the 16 switch so the gauge reads 4th gear. My ? Is does it just run the gauge or does it send a signal to the ECU for advance changes etc .
