Exhaust leak

I am using competition werkes cat delete pipe with stock exhaust. There is a leak where the cat delete pipe is clamped to the header pipe. I am using stock clamps and exhaust gaskets and have tried new gaskets. I have also tried Permatex Ultra Copper Silicone gasket maker. However, it still leaks.

I was wondering if anybody else has similar issues. Could it be that the cat delete pipe is not aligned properly and that's causing the issue?

I am wondering what are the symptoms you are observing that indicate an exhaust leak? I'm sure it may seem obvious, but I'm curious if it is visible exhaust, smell alone, check engine light or other dashboard indication?

. When the bike is cold, I start it, put my hand near the clamp and rev the bike to see if I can feel any exhaust gases on my hand.

You may want to consider either a different and wider clamp or a sealant such as Permatex.
