Length of Rear Master Cylinder "Plunger" or "Push rod"

can someone measure the push rod length on their rear brake cylinder? i need to know the exact length so i can make one of my own. apparently KTM doesn't supply that part, so if i want a new one i have to purchase an entire rear cylinder.

here is the part i'm talking about:

i need it measured from the top of the push rod, to the end of the threaded part of the rod

why would you want to buy another one? did yours break or something?

ya it snapped while i was on the track. i was able to cut a bolt to get it to function as a plunger, but i think it is too short. you really have to push down on the lever for the rear tire to lock.
