Question regarding the engine

Years, i had a CBR that sat for 8 years and started up after i drained and cleaned the tank then replaced the injectors, battery, and an oil change.

I store mine starting in October and retrieve in April/May.. I might start in once or twice during the winter. I would say at least 3 months. I would not worry about the engine unless you were storing for a year or more. In that case, I would change the oil before storing it.

Unless you meant how long the battery will last before it gets too low.

You don’t even need to start it during the winter. No reason to.

I'm with issac.

Add fuel stabilizer to your tank and keep the battery on a tender and you are good for a long time.
