Hey, wondering what everyone does for winter maintenance on the RC and any recommendations. last year was my first year racing one.. on my R6 i would do valves and clean it up, + refresh the forks / shock, but thats about it.

Anything else i should be doing on the RC?

I am planning on doing valves (do i need to drop the motor for this or is there room to do it in place?), any tips on this job as this is the first time on the RC. anything else need to be done/tightened in engine to keep it running well?

thoughts?

I would definitely do the valve check. I did mine with the engine in, but it was pretty tight/not a lot of room to move around. You might think about a suspension refresh, especially if youre racing in hot climates. I replace the water wetter in my bike each season, as well.

Other than the normal oil change, new tires, etc, I just work on everything else as needed.
