Remarkable difference between fuels on a standard road bike.

When I use Shell V-power (99 RON) the bike feels noticeably smoother and faster. Ordinary 95 RON is OK acfording to my dealer, but the difference is obvious. I mean in a quick blast between bends, it reached 101 on the speedo, where it reached 95 the day before (that's off-road, judge, honestly it is). That's so close to top speed, it's surprising on a completely standard engine/intake/exhaust.

I'll never ride fast on the cheap stuff again!

Thanks for the info. Bikes are funny. I tracked a VFR800 that ran best on Regular pump gas. Everything else I've tracked I've taken premium. On the street, I've been using 91 octane (Premium) because that's the highest octane that's readily available around here.
