I did the andriani fork cartridges and Ohlins shock for the rc390 over the weekend. The forks were a pain in the ass ...fortunately I'm machinist and made my own tools for the job... (it would be impossible without the right tools!) It feels way better just sitting on it but y wife took it to the track today...that'll be the real test!

Hey I did the Ohlins rear swap and it was like the best thing ever for a guy who weighs more, like me. I'm putting bitubo cartridges in this weekend. Did you heat up the stays where the forks thread in to on the bottom/end? Wish me luck.

Yes...that is KEY! Heat them till you see the loctite bubble around the edges. My first leg I struggled with because I didn't heat it enough...it was a bitch to get off, but the second leg was fairly easy using more heat. Same with removing the OEM cartridge...use lots of heat on the cap.
