What did you do to your RC today?

some fine tuning on the Rapidbike Evo on the laptop. Mostly smoothing out the lower rpm light throttle.

I can do nearly full lock figure 8's in my cul-de-sac at idle with no clutch use. In second gear! so slow that its under 2000rpm! Its very smooth! I'm quite happy with that.

And this is with a larger injector

no, I have the Evo, no the Race one. Cannot change timing.

I've found that on cars, often a little more advance is good at low throttle low rpm, but I don't know if that will translate to this platform.

Installed yoshi license plate tuck. Chopped off muffler after cat outlet. Wrapped hair tie around headlight flasher so both lights can stay on lol

Today I installed specific wires in order to connect the Race_Against_The_Machine to a dattalogger.
TPS, RPM, AFR and power supply...

Just spent the afternoon in the garage fitting a Translogic Quickshifter. Just need to tighten everything up but gave it a quick go on the stands and .... Bloody Hell, Epic!!

While it's stripped down I'll fit the ABS bypass too, get ready for some track day action in the next few months providing it stops raining!

Added graphics and took her to a small go-kart track.

Fitted the RabidBike Evo to the wife's bike...also fitted the Factory Pro detent spring/arm and the axle-blocks from Grey Area KTM.

The help from Grey Area KTM as excellent as was the customer service and shipping options provided.
The axle-blocks are a very nice bit of work and the minute you put them up against the OEM blocks you can see the investment was worth it...

Finally finished fitting the Translogic Quickshifter, still needs a bit of an adjustment and a run out!

Whilst down in that area I fitted the Shift Shaft Holder from Gray Area. Unbelievable and combined with the Factory Pro detent arm it is a noticeable difference. Little bit of fiddling to get the side stand back on but all is good.

Finally finished the fitting of the Speigler lines which go on well easy, removal of the OEM lines was a different matter but they are now off and ABS pump blanked off.

Weather has improved enough for the bike to come out sadly I’m going away for three weeks!

I have read lots on here and else where but don't post much (first post here I thinik?). I bought a 17' in Dec of that year. I knew I wanted to do the suspension but did not want to mess with the engine as what kind of money would I throw at an engine to get, what, 4 HP on a engine making ballpark 40? I did not buy this bike to "hotrod"it!!! So after a season riding with a yoshimira slip on (just couldn't take the stock sewing machine sound) and my newly installed suspension (Ohlins rear, Andreani front) I realized I scraping pegs and engine guards at Horse Thief Mile in Rosemond CA. I decided I needed rearsets and maybe an exhaust to get it higher before I started scraping it (read about that but it has not happened yet)

Well that snowballed quickly as my new Moto Maggot exhaust meant more air flow so I HAD to do a PCV, well then I would have to tune it so a wideband 2 was in order, right? Humm, I have gone this far so K&N filter with an open airbox since I now had the means to tune it. Hey did you know the PCV can easily be hooked up to a quickshifter? Yeah well there is my 4 hp I was not going to do....Putting the last bits together and uploaded a new map. I will be running up the hill (which means Angeles Crest Highway that I am Fortunate to live at the bottom of) to test it out in the next few days.

Add the Tyga rearsets and their cool clutch and brake levers and I think I am nearing the cost of the bike reinvested back in the bike! I love this little bike!
