From what I've read about it, it seems that they want to make sure their street legal stuff doesn't get tampered with. I don't think it will stop anyone from putting a pipe on that say 'Race use only' and taking it to the track.

Beautiful bike! I'm interested but CA is weird and I need to know if this is a 49 state bike, or a 50? To register it in California it has to have 7500 on the odo if it's a 49 state bike. It might say on the sticker but if it doesn't then I actually don't know how to even find this out, I can't...

I'm 32. I've been riding since 2010 (almost exclusively street bikes) and this will be my second year racing. I'm hoping to get all 7 race weekends this year on an RC390. =) The first race at Buttonwillow is only 7 weeks out, so I have my work cut out for me!

I think I'll just get the belly pan to make it race legal and then worry about getting the uppers when I can find a deal. Hotbodies doesn't even have the KTM stuff listed on their site yet. =( I guess I'll have to call.
