    Wanted R6 shock

I was wondering if anyone had a R6 shock that they wanted to sell. My KTM is a budget track bike for me and my wife would not be happy with me if I dropped a bunch of money on new suspension. Trying to make some upgrades as I am scraping case guards now and can't break the bank. I am about...

    Disconnecting the ECU?

It looks like the ECU has a plastic cover that needs to be removed prior to disconnecting it. I don't see any obvious way of removing it, and before I break something else :) Is anyone able to describe, or have a link to a walk through for disconnecting the ECU? Thanks, Mike

    5/7/17 ride around the lake

Went out on a nice ride with a buddy of mine from work. He had just picked up his Ducati and we decided to go for a little ride around the big lake. Left from the Irving fuel station (I needed gas) and proceeded to head out to the lake. headed up ridge road, down stock bridge corner rd, up 28...

How long to break in a new bike/engine?

Does anyone know how long it takes to break in a new engine these days? I generally only buy 2nd hand bikes as they tend to have all the goodies on them already, but this was too cheap to not buy :) The Dealer says 1000klms to run the bike in. I've done 200klms then swapped oil and filter...

    Good ride

By way of positivity-We got a minor break in the heat this afternoon (meaning sub-90 degrees), so I scurried out for a little less than an hour on the RC. My recent rides had all been on bigger bikes, so as it always happens, the small/light nature of the RC required some recalibration. But it...

    Bent Break Pad Lever

    Footpeg rant

Dear KTM: Cotter pins? Seriously? I guess it cost too much to slot the hinge pin and source a circlip, huh? And boy, that right side- nice clearance on the rear master cylinder dust boot. I guess thats easier to access before you install the brake parts. Stoopid cheap s***s. Oh. To...

Mineral Oil for early first oil change during break in?

Hey just got my bike here in the states used from an older guy who bought it new but neck issues made it uncomfortable for him to ride. He put 239 miles on the bike, did nothing to it. I just rode it home from his place and put another 100 miles on it... so we are at the 339 mile mark and i...

    Just picked on up

Just picked one up Hi everyone, I'm new here. I just picked up an RC390 this morning...took it straight to the track. Bike was priced at $5499. OTD price is $6950. My other bike is a 2008 Ninja 250 so my short review is a comparison between the two. Note that I ride strictly at the track track...
