Man that was ridiculous. You're in WA right? That would spoil me on KTM forever if I were you. Its far, but I highly recommend Gray Area KTM in Oregon for anything else.
Glad it's back. Seemed like a nightmare.

So there was no definitive diagnosis on why the engine blew, how has it been since the new engine was installed?

The mechanic at the new shop showed me the engine damage and said it was a bad oil pump.
I've gone 70 miles since the rebuild and no issues
rebuilt engine. KTM didnt have any complete 390 engines they could send me.
The first shop ruined my PCV quickshifter by pulling the wire out of the sensor, they paid for a new one and I picked it up yesterday. Gonna replace it and test it today. Also have this in the mail: https://shop.rokbagoros.com/collect...justable-steel-subcage-ktm-rc-125-200-250-390

Got the rear pegs from RokBagaros Installed
Looking forward to getting the front cage and wheelie bar from him in the future.
It's looking like i'll go full stunt build on this bike. Might get a 56t rear sprocket and new chain too.
I can't even remember the last time I went on the freeway with this bike. It's all low speed downtown assholing around, so losing some top speed really doesn't matter to me.
150 miles on the rebuild now, no issues!
