I recently bought a bunch of Italian crime/gangster movies from the 1970s. I haven't watched them all yet but 2 have about a 1975 year 250 KTM enduro in them.
...'Live like a Cop, Die like a Man' has a blue KTM like the attached picture of one in great shape somewhere...the other picture is a snapshot I took when you first see the bike on a trailer before an epic 3 bike chase right at the start of the movie.
The other movie that has the same KTM model, but a red one, is 'Rulers of the City'...both movies were made in 1976. I read a review of the first movie where the reviewer thought there was shameless product placement which may have been paid for. Well maybe there is...a few times you see ashtrays in different locations which have the same brand name on them and always perfectly facing the camera. So perhaps KTM or a dealer gave them a reason to have a KTM in those parts? Both movies are fun to watch despite the violence because they really are over the top.
