wow, this thread petered out quickly, at my local track, people seem to be running from their fully-built RC's to R3s. Makes me wonder if its an opportunity or a warning. . .
I am on a revision that seems to be holding together nicely. But its only been raced for 2 rounds, so I really don't have a lot of input for a term that I consider appropriate. The R3 seems to be faster in a straight line due to the nature of the twin engine, but the RC has it beat in the handling and brakes by a mile.

thanx for the response, seems like the head gasket is the main thing, but also overheating (fan, radiator), buddy threw out a clutch already, vibration from the thumper causing high rate bolt-loss, etc. . Also heard valve checks are pita because the chassis is so narrow, so good for handling, bad for wrenching. I guess I just need to hire a good mechanic if I want the KTM :)
