From what I understand, Koyos are japanese made and better quality than stock. They can also be had pretty cheap if you buy them separately. Ceramic would be nice but im sure the difference would be not noticeable. I wouldnt buy them but thats because im cheap.

I read an article about ceramic bearings on a road racing bicycle (no im not a cyclist). I guess those guys were super interested in ceramic bearings when they became widely available, but it turns out ceramic bearings are kind of a "snake oil" deal. The biggest take away was that you will never realize any difference in steel vs ceramic bearings if they are used in a lubricated environment. The viscosity of lubricants are the major cause of rolling resistance in a bearing. Also, though full ceramic bearings can be very hard, they are not as durable as steel bearings when used on wheels.

If you ride on the street, stay with steel bearings.
