chain adjuster markings

On my previous bikes the markings on the swing arm that allow aligning the rear have not been very accurate. Anyone have any luck with the RC? What method are you using to ensure front and rear alignment?

I measure from the back of the swing arm to the start of the adjuster, it's more precise than eyeing it up to the adjuster marks, that's assuming both sides of the swing arm are equal lengths, which they should be.

That is what I use to do on my CBR. Was thinking it might be more accurate to count turns of the bolt from the furthest forward position

I get it roughly where needed and use a vernier caliper from a point on the swing arm to the outside of the rim .

Same point both sides obviously .

Thats presuming the swing arm is straight to everything else .

Close enough for me :)
