Cost of second service

Coming up on the second service interval for my bike (Around 4.5-5K miles, I believe).

Did the first service myself and may end doing this one myself too, not sure I trust my dealer.

Just wondering if anyone has had this done at their dealer and what was the cost?

I think the 2nd service is pretty much just an oil/filter change, I would do it myself. Valve check again at 9K...

Is there a separate O-ring kit that can be purchased or do you have buy the entire oil filter service kit to get the O-rings?

Not quite sure if its for the oil filter but look into the little tool kit under the seat. Last I looked at the tool kit there was two extra rubber o-rings... Or some sort of round gasket, maybe they threw in a few spares?

I was wondering about that too. What are those things for?

Think those are just 'rubber-bands' to be used to wrap around tool kit...I definitely would question if they have anything to do with 'spares' for engine.

Here is listing for 'lubrication system' from KTM Service Manual.
If replacing O-rings for strainers and oil filter you need items 11, 13, 16, 24, and 28 from what I can see. You can also buy entire oil change kit (item 99) which includes filter, strainers and o-rings, or individual 'strainer kits' (items 10 and 12) for one strainer and item 26 for the other. Unless people are seeing O-rings being damaged I would just buy a filter, carefully clean filter o-ring, clean strainers and O-rings and re-use. It's always good to have some spares on the shelf just in case but to replace everything for every oil change is overkill to me.
