so I was torquing all the bolts on the bike after a longer ride.
I got all of it torqued and then I saw the little brass nut on the side stand. Tried to torque it, and I broke it off. Sad panda. I saved it. I figured it was a stop for the stand to not go up to far. Tried it, and it worked.
Later on, jumped on the bike and saw the "side stand down" warning.
2 and 2 ads up, and I know whats up.
How can I fix this?
I want to keep the system active.
I know I can glue a magnet to the end of the sensor, but I want to keep it functional.
I have properly JB welded the nut back in place and it seems to be good, but if it rattles loose, I'm stuck somewhere.
Is there a way that on the side of the road, one can easily bypass this to get the bike on the road again?
