Seems lately that I have excessive pressure in the tank when I stop to fill up with gas. I've checked the vent hose and overflow hose all are clear and not kinked. I did notice that within the cap itself their seems to be vent or something. You can see a half moon rubber seal with a hole in it on the bottom of the cap that lines up with a corresponding half moon metal spot on top of the tank. Does anyone know what that is and/or why I have excessive pressure when opening tank?
