Radiator Bleed Screw Threads Stripped

Think I stripped the threads in my radiator for the bleed screw. Has anybody done the same and tapped it for a bigger bolt successfully?

Same thing happened with one of our 390's...rather than re-tapping it I made it permanent with some sealant and bleed the radiator the same way I do all the bikes that don't have a bleed screw.
