Should the clutch spring just pop out?

I was re-attaching the clutch cable, and the clutch spring popped out. I hardly touched it...

I took pictures when I had my clutch cover off. Let me see if I still have those. I don't think anything captured that clutch lever on the inside. Just the friction of the oil seal kind of holds it in place.

Found my picture. There is nothing inside that retains that piece. Just poke it back in with the arm in about the position it is currently in on your second photo.

Also check out the oil jets to force oil on the clutch.
