What a day!
After warming the bike up and bliping the throttle, there was a horrible metallic knocking noise. After taking the engine out, I found that the bolt holding the timing sprocket on the cam had come loose. It has bent the cylinder head and cracked it, along with the valve cover.
Has...
To add to the mix, I'm now also producing a Chromoly 4140 Hardened Rockwell 36C front sprocket for the stock 520 chain. These sprockets are hard clear through, not case hardened as most front sprockets are. This means it'll last a LOT longer. Going up to a 16T front is basically about the same...

415 Front Sprockets are rolling off the machining center constantly now. Stock for the rear sprockets should be here later this week and will have an array of offerings for rear sprocket sizes. Sprocket fitment is perfect! These front sprockets are made from hardened Chromoly 4140, and have cold...
Lost my California DMV Registration Card - need to get a replacement. Form requires ENGINE NUMBER in addition to license and VIN. According to the shop manual, the engine number is buried on this bike underneath the engine sprocket. Is there any other way to find the engine number besides...
Took off the stock rear chain/mud guard and the sprocket guard and replaced them with some fresh Carbon from Matt @ Formula390, the rear is the Duke hugger...........could not be happier
Haven never actually ridden my Rc yet lol. i have a gearing question. This is a 100% race only bike. my track is very technical, lots of turns and only short straight aways. any recommendation for gearing? some have said to leave it stock? I want to get a new rear sprocket to go with an aluminum...
One of the best products on market for your KTM, 14 lbs lighter than stock wheels! Superb quality, excellent fit.
Comes with sprocket carrier(fits factory sprocket!) and hardware. does not include rotor hardware(OEM will work).
We've added a bunch of options available for these wheels too...
So we have a Vortex sprocket we installed on our RC390 Project bike for display and test fit only.
The bike wasn't even moved with the sprocket installed.
So it's basically.... BRAND NEW...... only way you would know it's installed, is we are telling you. ;-)
But, we don't roll like that.
So...

Owners, ... double check the validity of the Torque Specs. of the RC390 owners manual.
We were changing the rear sprocket today on the RC390.
And went to check the manual for proper Torque for the Rear Sprocket nuts.
And found some of incorrect information.
Our Manual shows :

I wasnt sure exactly where to post this, but I bought a 43T rear sprocket to put on the bike and kinda like the stock rear sprocket color. My new one is natural aluminum and wondered if anyone knew if the stock one was powder coated or painted or what? Just wondering, I might make the new one...
