Front Brake Lever touching throttle at trackway

I am using my 2017 RC 390 for track. As the track day goes by, my front brake lever becomes spongy and the lever touches the throttle.

I changed brake fluid to Motul 660 this morning in the hope that brake lever feel would get better. The feel is better, but if I put enough pressure I can get the lever touch the throttle. Is this normal with RC 390? Would Brembo RCS 15 master cylinder improve things?

Yes it's normal. Maybe try to go for steel braided brake lines before you buy the RCS 15.

I'll order a RCS 15 myself in the near future because of this issue.

I see, thanks! I will probably do brake lines and master cylinder together.

Btw, do you know what's the difference between RCS15 Corsa and RCS 15 Corsa Corta? I was wondering if Corta version would be better for the track.

Just a standard RCS15 will make a world of difference.

I scavenged the braided lines from the ABS unit when I removed it...awesome package when combined with the RCS15 and good pads.
