KTM blink code 4 long, 5 short

Hi all,
So the day has come where I have my first real issue with the RC. Didn't think it would be this quick. 5439 miles on the odometer and only two track days on it with multiple extra oil changes and air filter replacements performed.
I've got the 4 long, 5 short KTM blink code which I've searched to be the lambda sensor (O2 sensor).
I was wondering if anyone else has had this code come on so early on the odometer? Is this something worth taking to a KTM dealer and seeing if they will honor the 24,000 service even though this is a 2015?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

If you have a local KTM dealer, it wouldnt hurt to call them and ask if this would be covered. If not, I would try replacing the O2 sensor and see if that fixes it. Might be worth trying to find out which actual brand/model sensor it is and try to find it cheaper than going through KTM or BikeBandit as BB has the sensor listed at $175.

Blink code of FI warning

45 FI warning lamp (MIL) flashes 4x long, 5x short

Error level condition
