41. Had loads of bikes GSXR, Ducati SS, Speed Triple, Fireblade, YZF750 and TL1000R amongst other things.

Idea was to get a cheap hack for work but then I get reading and now I'm thinking of Domino throttles, changing fairings, what exhaust, sprocket sizes, smaller tyres, slicks for trackday ....

That's the thing with small bikes, good for improving riding and loads to tinker with. Blimey it's like the Gamma 125 years all over again!

Compared to me at 74 most of you guys are still in diapers

Current bikes the 390 of course, a 2015 KTM 350 EXC-F and a 2011 BMW S1000RR with over 90,000 miles of twisty roads on it. I figured out the other day that I've spent more on tires for it than what it cost new...

Thank you Sir. My son lives 300 miles from me and has a CBR1000RR, I feel very fortunate to still be able to ride with him every now and then.

56 but this bike is my 19yr old kids ride...for his first bike he claimed he wanted an R6...WRONG!. We looked into R3 then I turned him onto the rc390 and he fell in love with it. I've ridden for years off and on...had sport bikes when younger until my '83 GS750 that eventually crashed and totaled ('63 Dodge Polara pulled right in front of me and I T-boned it...luckly was not hurt). Had a young family and did not ride for a few years. Bought a new FXSTi Harley in '02 and enjoy riding/wrenching. Considerable engine mods over the years (currently 107 c.i. with stroker crank, ported heads, cams, etc). Did all the work myself. Now has 65K miles of mostly solo rides on twisty back roads...all my riding buddies are sport bike riders so I FORCE it to handle like a sport bike. Have really enjoyed first 2000+ miles riding with the kid trying to 'mold' him into a safe rider. He loves the rc and has quickly learned he can easily dust me in twisties (surprise!). I'm his wrench so using this forum to learn and share...cool site!

53 going on 17! Long time rider of roads and dirts and I LOVE my RC.

Raced WMRRA and OMRRA several yrs ago in the 600 SS and GP125 class on a R6 and RS125 respectively. Mostly ride MX now on my RMZ250 but lately I've been itchin to drag a knee again. I love flicking the RC around the back roads of the PNW but its not so safe, hope to do a few track days in 16.

I'm 34 this is my first bike, my main ride is a Mitsubishi Evolution 10 GSR with full built motor. I have no experience at all with motorcycles but I got this one because it reminds me of my evo; looks like a track bike, all the plastic and moldings feel cheap, it rattles, it's light, the gears are short and accelerates quick and the front end is different compared to most of the street bikes.

So far I have put 26 miles on the bike (yeah 26) and I love it :D

Im 28. Trained on a 250, started on a cbr600rr, then a 500r, now the rc390. Next will be a moped, then a 10 speed, then a tricycle, then hopefully im dead so my riding life is almost symetrical. Lol

I'm 35. Riding since I was 2. Ridden, raced, or owned a bit of everything - first bike was a Honda ATC70, most recent was a 2014 KTM 300XC (sold last week, im still crying).

Broke both wrists (while riding with OldVet in the CA desert) and moved to coastal NC where the good off-road riding/racing is almost non-existent. Decided to hang up the dirt for awhile and let the wrists properly heal. Garage seemed quiet and sad...insert 390!!!

47, Been riding since I was 8 years old. I can still remember every year/make/model of bike I've over the last 39 years-

1974 Honda MR50 Elsinore
1980 Honda XR 80
1983 Honda CR125
1982 Yamaha XJ550
1985 Yamaha XJ700
1989 Yamaha FZR600
1985 Suzuki GS550E
1989 Yamaha FZR1000
2003 Honda GL1800 Goldwing
2005 Honda VTX1800F
2008 Suzuki DRZ400SM
2002 CRF450R (supermoto)
2010 Husqvarna SMR450R

Ordered a 2106 KTM RC390. Never driven one before I ordered. I rode my wife's CBR250R on the track last year as my "back-up bike"..... Rode it for one session, and know I wanted a small sport bike, but with more power than the CBR250R could deliver. The RC390 was the obvious choice-

36. Got a 1984 honda xl80 when I was 10 and have been on and off ever since. Moved up to a 1986 honda xl250, had a 500cc ninja in 2000, 2005 yamaha yzf600r, 2005 kawasaki klr250, then traded that up to the 650, I can't remember all of them really. I usually just have 1 bike at a time, so right now it's the RC390.

2002 cr250r - raced
2012 Yamaha r6
2012 rmz250 - track, practice days only, still have.
2015 ktm 85sx - for my daughter and wife
2015 rc390 - for myself and wife

looks like I have to wait till 2017 150sx to be available since 2016s are pretty much gone. I'm going back to 2-strokes. I hate doing valves. ;-)

I am 36, I have been riding for about 6 months now and own two bikes:

2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300SE
2015 RC390

The Ninja was my first bike, but I only rode it for about a week before getting the 390 (my girlfriend now considers it to be her bike). I see myself having a lot of bikes, and I am currently eyeing bikes from Aprilla, Ducati, and Yamaha. I got the 390 because I felt like it offered a nice balanced platform for me to learn on. I really love this bike, and even though I plan on getting others I plan on holding on to this one for a long time.

I'm 34, been riding since Oct 2015 :p this is my first bike I'm more of a car guy I been drag racing for the past 10 years and now I'm starting to get into time attack, I love modifying my cars and I transferred this love to the bike. The main reason I decided to get the RC 390 is because my car was at the shop for more than a year getting a build motor and some goodies for the track so the wife decided it was time to get me some wheels. I got my car back 5 days ago and well is time to break in the new motor. This is my first motorcycle and I'm falling in love with it.

Drive: 2008 Evolution 10 GSR - 2.2L stroker, FP MHI TF06-18K on E85
Ride: 2015 RC 390
