Penske 03 R6 shock, looking for advice
Checking to see if this R6 shock (removed from an 03) will work for the shock conversion. It's sprung correctly for my 130lb girlfriend but I'm assuming it will need a rebuild.
Any suggestion for what a reasonable offer should be. Am I correctly assuming it will be around a $300 job? Seller is asking $350 but my gut says that's a bit high. I've read through the big conversion post and although there's a lot of technical information I've grasped the general idea. Just thinking a little out of the box with the Penske since its available. I'm wide open to advice from those in the know.
