Hi all, I have just picked up a 2015 KTM RC 390. It starts and runs well. It will die if you leave it idling for a few minutes but that doesn't bother me too much. Problem is when I gradually accelerate it get stuck at around 5000rpm and struggles to pull. It eventually gets past the blip and...
Introducing our first designed and developed in house product! The simple and subtle rear tank mount! No its not much and won't make 15% gains like our air tube but it does make life easier. I was tired of having to pull the fuel tank to clean my air filter so I made a fix, this bracket is that...

Hi all - I recently purchased a 2018 RC 390. I might just be dense here, but I'm finding it difficult to remove the bike's stock windscreen. I was unable to remove the two bolts that are tucked just under the side fairing. I even removed three bolts from the side fairing and still wasn't able to...
Put money down on a 2017 RC390 but wanted to know if California’s strict emissions standards change the performance aspects of the bike. Or anything thing else for that matter? If yes can it be removed?
Hi all, running a 2014 390 as a race/track bike only and having head gasket problems, just had the head machined due to normal warp issues with early models. Just been to a track day and the head went again in the last session, no noticeable overheating issues after doing cooling mods, ( better...
hey guys, wondering what things people have hacked off the bike to save weight :)
Right now i am thinking:
- Open airbox - small savings
- battery
- ABS removal
+ all the usual race parts, bodywork, rearsets, etc.
What else can be removed? have people removed?

Original owner, never ridden on street, been track bike since day 1, never raced. Nothing mechaincally wrong with the bike at all; drives/shifts/runs/starts with no issues whatsoever...
So three hours ago i bravely decided that the abs needs to be gone before Fridays sessions. I had ordered new banjo bolts and coppers last week and they arrived so it was time.
Seat, tank, side fairings off. Tank, actually just moved aside, Battery out, and battery tray loose. Ignition coil...
I'm currently installing the air box mod and PCV module. I'm at a point where four bolts are removed from gas tank mounts and battery removed. Do I need to loosen or remove the battery box? Do I need to drain the tank? Can I just move the tank up and back a little to access wire connections I...
The RC390 goes on the Dyno this evening for a fine tune at Olathe Suzuki in Olathe, KS. This is on a latest DynaJet 250 with eddie current braking and latest SW. Olathe Suzuki is and has been a certified Dynajet tuning center for many years. Their unit is typically conservative with it's...
Looks like this is bolted in place with a breakaway nut. Has anyone successfully removed theirs?
I think the bolt is stainless, so drilling out will be a PITA.
