Brakes soft from the sun?

I took my bike to the car wash today for the first time. The brakes obviously got some nice water cooling. When I left and hit the brakes the first time I was startled by how firm they were and how much they grabbed.

My bike sits in the Texas sun all day. Could this have something to do with? The brakes were better than they are the first time I take it out for the day.

I know Motul RBF 600 has a wet / dry boiling point of about 400 / 600, so I cannot see how the sun can make a significant enough factor to be able to feel it, even though OEM fluid is probably not quite that high.

Any idea what might be going on?

Heat will play a part but not like night and day difference .

Fwiw , when i was the car i get awesome brakes for 50 k's the water lightly oxidises the brake discs and this makes the pads "bite" better untill they are cleaned up .
