Installed a new PCV from KTM Performance today. Yesterday I checked valve clearances and spark plug gap (plug was too wide BTW). Then I had the AKRO 9031 map loaded at my KTM dealer in prep for this update, Chad loaded his map for the Akro exhaust, KN filter, and air box cover delete. Next Thursday I have dyno time reserved at the local certified dyno center for a tune check, tweak this map, and create a second map for inbox lid on. (I have an Arrow exhaust and must run an unmodified airbox for our CMRA class) This early release unit didn't come with install instructions (DynaJet hadn't finished them yet). No biggie, install went nice and the bike fired right off.
Chad's map is fine tuned for use with the Dynajet supplied O2 emulator, proper timing advance applied, that results in a great baseline to start your process. I will have two maps finished one with AB Lid one without. Can't wait till next week!
