Popped the head off the baffle shift lever bolt

I was trying to tighten up this bolt as my baffle was loose and kept sliding all over the shift shaft. Whelp, the head popped off.

Any ideas on how I remove this thing? The plan is to just drill it out and order a replacement baffle as I’m definitely gonna destroy the threads doing so.

Is there a 3rd party part that will actually cinch down on the shaft?

Here's what I'm talking about. It looks like I might be able to use an extractor set to pull the bolt through the opposite side.

if you can get the bolt out, drill it out and tap it bigger if needed. or just put a longer bolt all the way through with a lock nut on the far side.

So, total idiot move. I removed the broken bolt and threaded a new one in. The baffle is only threaded on one side. Yep, I had originally started the bolt on the threaded side. So of course the baffle was not tightening on the shift spindle. Got the new bolt in the correct way and bingo, we’re golden! Anyways, if your baffle is loose, check to make sure you’re threading the bolt in the correct way (unthreaded side first). Yoinks!
