Tyga Rearsets - Check that rear brake lever adjuster & LOCTITE it!

This is just a public service announcement for folks who are running the Tyga rearsets... CHECK YOUR REAR BRAKE LEVER STOP ADJUSTER. I've just gotten my 3rd report from someone who's had the adjuster fall off, which then allows the brake lever to swing WAY too far up... So, look at the bottom...

    Bent Break Pad Lever

Unfortunately i dropped my bike again and broke my break pad lever. I bought the stock break lever last time and the material really sucks. I'm looking for a good quality and i found these...

    Front Brake Pad Knockback

Is it just me or does the stock solid front rotor cause some pad knock back? At the last track day I went to it felt like the front brake lever never started braking at the same place each corner. Sometimes the lever would be right there and the front brake would bite immediately and other...

Installing the Brembo RCS-15 Front Master Cylinder

I thought about some alternate titles, along the lines of "now I can stop" or "can you stop this?", but decided to play it straight. Well, except for a semi-funny OG story: BMW introduced the first motorcycle with anti-lock brakes (ABS) in 1988. Long time BMW owners opined that "shoot, BMWs...

Clutch play adjustments and lurching starts

I installed the KTM folding clutch lever today and noticed something weird. I had the bike up on the rear track stand and when I started it up with the clutch lever fully depressed the rear wheel would spin. I would tap the rear brake and after that the wheel wouldn't start spinning until I let...

    Bent Brake Lever

Hi everyone, first post. I searched for "Bent Brake Lever" and found this thread from last year. It seems like it's best to simply buy a new rear brake lever when it gets bent. I figured I'd write a new thread now to see if anyone else has had this experience and what the best fix is...

Where to Buy OEM Parts (Clutch Kit) & Will Installing Avoid Factory Warrenty

Hi fellow riders, I might be needing a new clutch kit. Please advise me on where to buy the OEM parts for my 2015 RC 390 (not slipper clutch). The story: Only after a few thousand miles my clutch starts slipping at high revs. I tried adjusting the cable at the lever and engine however I...

    RC 390 Gear Shaft Problem

I recently finished my first 1000 KMs on my RC and gave my bike for first service. As i felt the clutch was a bit hard, i asked the service manager to see if he can do anything about it. the bike was delivered with the clutch action slightly modified, which made the clutch action engage with a...

WTB: rear brake lever or stock rear sets.

Crashed and broke my rear brake lever. Does anyone have a stock one? If you want to keep the rearsets all as a set I can purchase those as well.

    These bikes crash really well.

Long story short, buddy low sided my bike at the track and it scratched the front brake lever and broke the rear brake lever. None of the body work was touched.

    Removing brake/clutch levers?

What are the steps to remove the levers? Normally I would just do it, but my last bike had a surprise when removing the levers. If you didn't follow a precise sequence pieces of the lever could break. After that I figure I should always ask first lol.

    Pazzo levers and Progrip 714's

Got the grips a few days ago and picked up the levers today. With these grips my right hand no longer bothers me. The levers sure look good and the levers adjust them with a satisfying click but curiously for me I like them as wide/far from the grips as they go. The rubber thing on the end of...

    Windscreen vs levers?

I've replaced the OE levers with an aftermarket set I'll post up about later. I also have the "racing bubble" windscreen with the headlight cutout. Question to anyone with that screen: Any issues with clearance of either lever and the screen? My clutch side just bumps the screen at full...

    Braided Brake lines install

Installed the stainless lines bypassing the ABS. Haven't ridden it yet but the lever feels worlds better. I can't even pull the lever all the way back to the bar. This should allow one finger braking. There are a LOT of fasteners on this bike. Total time to take everything apart, remove ABS...
